Venice Architecture Biennale 2023

The Venice Architecture Biennale takes place from May 20 to November 26, 2023.

 

Participants are also winners of the Schelling Architecture Prize – Francis Kéré, winner of the Schelling Architecture Prize 2014, who is represented in the Giardini with “Counteract”, and the Schelling Prize winner 2020 Lina Ghotmeh, who already presented her “Archeology of the Future” in Venice in 2021.

In the German pavilion, the winners of the audience award at the Schelling Architecture Prize 2023, SUMMACUMFEMMER, together with the magazine ARCH+ and the office of Juliane Greb, are using the remains of the previous art biennale to make aspects of care, repair and maintenance, but also the social dimensions of the material and the existing building tangible make.
